Mesa over Surprise 6-5
Mesa surprised Surprise with their first win of the young season. DH Jon Singleton was 2-for-5 with a double, scored two runs and struck out once. 3B Bobby Borchering went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. RHP Nick Tropeano pitched two innings in relief, didn't allow a baserunner and struck out three.

VENEZUELAN WINTER LEAGUE
Caribes over Caracas 1-0
CF Brandon Barnes was 2-for-4 with a strikeout and stole a bag for Caracas.
Magallanes over Lara 6-4
RHP Sergio Perez got the win for Magallanes, pitching five innings and allowing one run on four hits with one walk and three strikeouts. LHP Gabriel Garcia pitched a perfect sixth inning.
Zulia over Aragua 10-3
2B Jose Martinez was 0-for-4 with a strikeout and drove in a run on a ground out.
