RHP Jandel Gustave (20)
A non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic, Gustave just finished his third season in the Astros system and his first with the GCL Astros. He ended the season going 2-1 with a 5.79 ERA and a 1.821 WHIP in 10 appearances (four starts). That might not sound that impressive until you consider that last season he had a 12.10 ERA and a WHIP of 3.000. He also had 21 wild pitches (plus five hit batters) in only 19 and a third innings last season. This year he lowered that to only three hit batters and seven wild pitches in 28 innings. Baby steps.

LHP Sid "El Sid" Fernandez (50)
The Hawaiian born pitcher was the third round pick of the Dodgers in 1981. He was best known, however, for the ten years he spent pitching for the Mets from 1984 to 1993. He was an All-Star for New York in 1986 and 1987. He went on to play for Baltimore and Philadelphia, before pitching in one game for the Astros in 1997. His one start for Houston, a win, proved to be his last major league appearance.
