Again, a scoring run has either sparked Zulia to a win, or has sunk them. Unfortunately, this one was a case of the latter, as Magallanes went on a 9-1 run from the 3rd to the 5th, with the big blow coming in the form of a grand slam in the 4th.

3 runs in the 5th proved to be enough for Guasave, although Los Mochis made it a 1-run game in the top of the 9th. However, the Cotton Growers were able to close the deal.
