Guasave scored a couple of runs late, but they weren't able to find the breakthrough. After the Cotton Growers got on the board in the 8th, Leo Heras was stranded at 3rd to end the inning. Heras was also caught stealing home in the 1st. Japhet Amador made it 3-2 by leading off the bottom of the 9th with a homer.
