No future Astros and only one former Astro with a birthday today ~
C John Mizerock (53)
Drafted by the Astros in the first round in 1979, Mizerock, born in Punxsutawny, Pennsylvania (the home of Groundhog Day) played in 92 games for Houston in 1983, 1985 and 1986. As the back-up back-stop for Alan Ashby, Mizerock didn't warrant a great deal of playing time and his .181 batting average for Houston helped ensure that would be the case.
