RHP Jason Jennings (36) aka He Who Must Not Be Named
A first round pick by the Rockies in 1999, Jason Jennings was obtained (by Tim Purpura in his infinite wisdom) in a trade with the Rockies for Willie Taveras, Taylor Buchholz and Jason Hirsh in December 2006. It was later rumored that Purpura had not adequately checked out Jennings' medical records (he had been playing injured before the trade). In 19 games (18 starts) for Houston, he was 2-9 with a 6.45 ERA and a 1.545 WHIP. But it was his seventh loss that is forever etched in my mind.
