Ronnie Mitchell's solo homer with 1 out in the 2nd was the first run of the evening. Later in the frame, Danry Vásquez and Brett Phillips added RBI singles. McDonald delivered a haymaker with his 3-run shot in the 3rd, and in the 4th, Tyler White hit an RBI single. McDonald finished 3-4 (triple shy of the cycle) with a couple of runs scored, while Danry and Phillips both finished 2-4. Mitchell also scored 2 runs.
