AUSTRALIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE
Wednesday: Perth 7, Adelaide 1
The Bite scored first, but it was all Perth afterwards. Chan-Jong Moon went 0-3.
Thursday: Perth 10, Adelaide 5
The Bite held a 5-2 lead after the 4th, but they were burned by 8 unanswered runs from the Heat to end the game. Chan-Jong Moon hit a double in 4 at-bats and drew a bases-loaded walk in the 4th. Tyler Brunnemann got the final 2 outs of the 8th and allowed an unearned run on a passed ball, a hit, and walked 1.
The third game of this series will take place at 7:20 Australian Western Time.
LIDOM
Gigantes 8, Águilas 6
Both teams scored 3 in the 9th; Gigantes did so to pad their lead, while Águilas made a dent in that lead as they attempted to mount a rally. Jonathan Villar had a solid night at the plate for Águilas as he went 2-4 with a double, a solo homer in the 3rd, and scored 2 runs.
