LHP Tommy Shirley (23)
Originally from Pennsylvania, Shirley was drafted in the 9th round in 2010 out of Xavier University. After an injury-shortened 2010 in which he posted a 0.00 ERA and a 1.118 WHIP over five starts, Shirley pitched a few innings, mostly rehab, in 2011. In 13 innings, he gave up six hits, three runs and five walks with 15 strikeouts and compiled a 2.08 ERA and a 0.846 WHIP. I think we all look forward to seeing what he can do in 2012 if he stays healthy.
